Washakie County School District #1 is in the process of applying for an alternative calendar in accordance with WDE Chapter 22, School Schedules Rule, pursuant to W.S. 21-02-304 (b) (viii) and W.S. 21-4-301. As part of the required process, the district must notify the community and gather public input. Following these meetings, the updated calendar will be submitted to the State Board for approval.
The district is required to hold two public meetings:
➡️ The first is Thursday, January 22 from 12-12:30 PM
➡️ The second is Monday, January 26 from 6-6:30 PM
Both meetings will be held at the Administration Office (1900 Howell Avenue).

Regular meetings of the board of trustees of Washakie County School District No. 1, State of Wyoming, are held the fourth Monday of each month, with the exception of the May, July and December meetings, at 7:00 P.M. at the Central Administration Office, 1900 Howell Avenue, in Worland, Wyoming, and such meetings are open to the public.
