Academics
Physical Science students went over to Worland High School to practice Newton’s laws by using magnetic force cars. They also went there to do an egg lab. The students had to build a contraption that would protect the egg from breaking. They had to make it survive a 90 degree drop or a 270 degree drop for a grade of 4.
In the Fall 2035 semester 13 out of 18 students at White Hawk made the honor roll. The students who made the Principal Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA are: Cherokee Brown, Angelica Carlson-Runyan, Samuel Decker, and Grace Vickers. The students who made the Scholastic Honor Roll with a 3.6-3.9 GPA are: Hilda Ramirez Velasco, Hailey Hartley, and Caroline Borrelli. The students who made the Merit Honor Roll with a 3.3-3.6 GPA are: Ryleigh Matthiesen, Alexis Appleby, and Azalea Rodriguez. The students who made the Achievement Honor Roll with 3.0-3.3 GPA are: Danner Glanz, Jaden Butler, and Morgan Yeager.

Team Building
For our most recent team building activity, White Hawk students built gingerbread houses and had a competition. They were divided randomly in groups of two, and they had no rules when it came to building the gingerbread house. After the students finished building them, some special guests came to judge. We also did a white elephant exchange, and there were some good gifts and some funny gifts. Overall, everyone seemed to have a lot of fun building and getting to know more about their partners as they build.

Student Spotlights
Caroline Borrelli is a senior at White Hawk Academy. Her goal after high school is to attend college and move in with her boyfriend. She wants to study phlebotomy or electrical work. The most important lesson she's learned over the years was that if something can go wrong, then it will— Murphy’s Law. Something that would surprise people about her is that she's a great cook. Something that she was grateful for from her childhood is her family’s ability to give her a childhood that she'd like to remember. Someone she looks up to is her boyfriend's sister, Kenzie. Kenzie is very smart, outgoing, social, and extremely kind even on rough days.

Brailynn Preciado is a junior at White Hawk Academy. Her goal after high school is to go to college and become a nurse. Going to White Hawk has helped her stay on track and, overall, it's a better environment for her. Something that Brailynn would like to achieve this school year is to continue getting good grades. Something surprising about her is that she's gone through adversity throughout her whole childhood, and she's now stronger as ever. Her perspective of life has changed by living in the moment and having no regrets. She looks up to her mom because she has pushed her through all the tough times.
